براساس مطالعات ریخت‌شناختی و توالی‌یابی ناحیه ITSاز DNAریبوزومی،15 گونه متعلق به 10 جنس شامل:Alternaria brassicicola، A. chlamydospora، A. malorum، A. atra، Arthrinium phaeospermum، A. sacchari،Aspergillus nidulans، A. wentii، Beauveria bassiana، Chaetomium elatum، Epicoccum nigrum، Geosmithia pallida، Paecilomyces variotii، Cytospora punicae و Verrucobotrys geranii به عنوان قارچ‌های اندوفیت از مو شناسایی و معرفی می‌شوند.
