Aspergillus medius, a new record to the mycobiota of Iran

Abstract

During isolation of Venturia inaequalis (Cooke) G. Winter from apple leaves and fruits in the laboratory, some fungi appeared as culture contaminants. From these, an isolate was identified as Aspergillus medius R. Meissn. (teleomorph known as Eurotium medium C.F.W. Meissn.), based on morphological and molecular data (sequences of ITS rDNA).

Abstract [Persian]

طی جداسازی و خالص‌سازی قارچ Venturia inaequalis (Cooke) G. Winterاز برگ‌ها و میوه‌های درختان سیب در شرایط آزمایشگاهی، برخی قارچ‌ها به عنوان آلوده کننده محیط کشت مورد توجه قرار گرفتند. تعدادی از این قارچ‌ها جداسازی و خالص‌سازی شده و شناسایی آن‌ها براساس ویژگی‌‌‌های ریخت‌شناختی و مولکولی انجام گرفت. از بین آن‌ها، یک جدایه از قارچ Aspergillus medius R. Meissn. (مرحله جنسی آن Eurotium medium C.F.W. Meissn.) با خصوصیات ریخت‌شناختی شناسایی شد.
