Abstract

Specimens belonging to the genus Carex sect. Ammoglochin from W Azarbaijan province (W Iran) were studied and Carex iraqensis and C. disticha are reported for the first time from Iran. These species are characterised and illustrated and a determination key for species of sect. Ammoglochin is presented. Taxonomic relationships and distributions are discussed in the Persian text which is also summerised here.

Abstract [Persian]

در این تحقیق، نمونه‌های جمع‌آوری شده متعلق به جنس Carex و بخش Ammoglochin از استان آذربایجان غربی مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند که دو گونه Carex iraqensis و C. disticha برای نخستین بار از ایران گزارش می‌شوند. خصوصیات مورفولوژیکی و تصاویر این دو گونه به همراه کلید شناسایی گونه‌های بخش Ammoglochin ارایه می‌شود. همچنین، در مورد روابط تاکسونومیکی و پراکنش آن‌ها نیز بحث می‌شود.
